A national hockey club with 15 teams in various national leagues were in desperate need of an overhaul to their website. CAVE produced this site, backed with a bespoke content management system to enable the club committee to manage the fixtures, results and content in an intuitive manner.

Client Summary

Southampton Hockey Club are a large and friendly mixed club based at the Sports Centre in the heart of Southampton. Running since 1938, they currently field 9 men's teams, 5 ladies teams, indoor teams, mixed teams and a large thriving junior section. Their teams and alumni include the U18 National Champions 2009 and several players who have represented England at a national level in recent years.

The Result

The site we built for Southampton Hockey Club includes an integrated fixtures and results database display, event calendar and content management system built from scratch to deal with the specific needs of the club. Everything about the site is customisable including the homepage layout, sidebar elements page design and order. This gives the club's committee complete control over the content of the site without requiring any technical ability or worrying about adversly affecting the design.
