Best of Bristol Lectures
In a major project for 2010 for us, we developed the Best of Bristol Lectures series website including an accompanying logo and corporate identity for the project. The site was targetted towards University students with an extensive focus on a slick and well executed design that would appeal to the brand-savy audience. Integration with social media functions, and the delivery of visual content was also considered a must for the project.
Client: Best of Bristol Lectures

Client Summary
The Best of Bristol Lectures (BoB Lectures for short) is a series of exciting and inspirational events to showcase some of Bristol University’s best lecturers to its own students. An original idea, backed by a petition of over 1,000 students, staff and alumni of the university, led to a series of 11 lunchtime lecturers which took place in the 2010/11 academic year.
The Result
Our website served thousands of unique visitors in the weeks surrounding the project. As well as the website, CAVE Design developed supporting large format posters for the project. The site was featured and linked to from local press and media organisations.
As the project developed, we updated the site with fresh trailers for forthcoming lectures and implemented video players to show clips from previous lectures. CAVE Design are currently in discussions regarding the future development of the project as the initiative looks to spread beyond the University of Bristol for 2011/12.
The Feedback
“From an innovative rebranding exercise to a website that far exceeded the original brief, CAVE Design has offered a flexible, dynamic and high quality service. I would thoroughly recommend CAVE Design to any potential clients.”
